“We actually have told many people of our experience at StarMaker and those friends who knew we were going were all eager to hear about it. I described it as a spiritual experience of sorts - or at least a presentation of ideas and actions that if followed, could create a spiritual experience in someone's life. I described Richard as someone who has a unique ability to express information in a way that seems to get through our built in "filters". Those filters that tell us "things are best the same as they always have been", that "we have to work 'hard' to be successful, etc...Richard seems to be able to tap into something in the conscious/subconscious that is somehow more than motivation. We have been implementing the tools he teaches and first and foremost have been laughing at ourselves more than ever. We also shared with them what we are now calling 'Richardesque Classics' . Everyone's favorite is taking someone to lunch and buying theirs to go! My personal favorite is a thought that is now in my mind almost always - I want my presence to be present in people's lives even when I am not present. That is so powerful in so many ways. The ultimate classic in our office is the truth he speaks - "Behavior Never Lies". It would be difficult to share all that we learned - we are reading back through the materials little bits at a time - we even got up early one day to exercise, something we had been wanting to get back to, and talked about a few ideas from the weekend. We will continue to do this. We are looking forward to our next encounter with this awesome guy and in the meantime we have plenty to do! Actions speak louder than words and we are lovin' the changes. Thanks to all!”

“Richard,
Listening to your very direct comments on life and how to achieve the life I want was very powerful for me. I have been struggling with finding the balance in my life for a very long time. I have made some very hard choices in the past few years and now I’m ready to “live” my life. I just don’t know how to find the time to “live” my life instead of just “existing” in my life. Your seminar on focus, balance and discipline could not have come at a better time for me. I purchased several of your CD’s and books and I have joined your Inner Circle and can’t wait to start learning how to live in a stressful world and achieve the balanced life I have been craving. Thank you for becoming a part of my new journey.”
—Judy K., Tucson, AZ
“Richard,
This was my first StarMaker (2005). It allowed me to take a systematic inventory of my life to this point. I saw clearly how being scattered had become my decision making process. I want to understand the commitment required to achieve my crusade. In fact, I want to understand my crusade. I have taken the opportunity to sign up for the 14-day Inner Circle trial period. I want my dreams to come true.
Thank you for a wonderful time and awesome conference.”
—Raquelle P., Scottsdale, AZ
“My 1st StarMarker I found a way to curb my anxiety towards my life, family and work. This 2005 StarMaker on Focus, Balance, and Discipline brought a whole new meaning and understanding. As a Sales Manager, I'm stronger to perform as a leader and even more now.”
—Dennis F., Wimberley, TX
“Dear Richard,
This seminar (StarMaker 2005) and it's message were very powerful when delivered by a powerful speaker. I'm not sure how many other speakers can bring such passion and focus to a 3 day workshop. This program confirms for me the way I live my life, work my business and find such peace in myself - I've known for a long time that I am on the right journey, it's just nice to hear someone else confirm it! I will recommend Richard's seminars to friends, co-workers and family in the future and wish you the best in the future.”
—Pat L., Tucson, AZ
“Hi, Richard!
Going to StarMaker 2005 was something I procrastinated on — so long, in fact, that I was only able to join after someone else cancelled!! But I am so glad I did. Not only did it open my eyes as to what was happening to my business (being scattered and not focusing on what I needed to do), but also personally. I was not taking time for ME, and thus resenting other people a lot.
As far as working on my balance - since coming back, I have started taking dance lessons to learn West Coast Swing — which I've thought about doing for over 10 years!!! Plus, I took my bike in to get a 'Spring Cleaning' to prepare to join a local cycling club. It's been sitting outdoors for over 5 years and seriously needed an overhaul.
Business-wise: I have reviewed my goals and decided to change my focus - where I put my energies. The new plan should allow me to quit my J.O.B. within the next two years and NEVER have to become someone else's employee again.
This is only the beginning — I have LOTS more to work on, especially on a personal basis. But it's a start, and I am enthusiastic and energized more than I have been in almost 2 years. Thank you SOOOOOOO much!!!”
—Susan M., Houston, TX
"Dear Richard, It was a fantastic seminar and cruise (StarMaker 2004). Thank you for the opportunity.
Your seminar saved a life. At 4:00 am on the Saturday prior to leaving in Seattle I received a phone call that my youngest son was in a severe car accident of his own fault (stupidity), that he was undergoing emergency plastic surgery on his face and that it was not necessary to return home as my brother very ably took care of it. Needless to say, the anger and Italian genes almost took over. I knew, even prior to the seminar, that this seminar would be another step for me. I was correct.
As a result of your teachings, as well as those learned at the Masters over the years, I was able to stay relatively calm, respond NOT react, and not make myself sick, nor commit murder when I returned home. Hence the life saved...
My son is doing well, has 52 stitches under his chin, knew enough to call his uncle, my lawyer and a plastic surgeon and will be fine. He has also come to the realization, that he needs us and that we were right all along. He promised, and we are seeing good changes. Not that he was bad, just a little too cocky. He has toned down well. He will also be watching your CD when I get it. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to learn from you."

"Hi Richard,
Your choice of holding the StarMaker 2004 on this cruise to Alaska was the ultimate. This was my first StarMaker attendance, I have attended a few of your sessions, each and everyone have been a great wealth of information. But, I have to tell you that the topic of your program "Managing the Skills of Time, Patience and Pace" was very appealing to me. I enjoyed everything you share with the audience. Having validations at the sessions from actual people that you coach was an invaluable. Each and everyone of them shared very personal life experiences and I appreciate their stories. The three day sessions you covered were very valuable for my personal and business life and I thank you for that.
Also, the beginning and ending songs you selected for each session were just right the songs complemented each topic so well. I decided to go purchase each one of the songs for my collection. I will highly recommend your programs to anyone.
Thank you so much for all of your valuable input."

"As you know, I have attended every Starmaker except one since 1992. Each year I leave with a renewed commitment to live a balanced life. This year was no exception. The pace of the conference was just right for retaining the information. I am in for next year!!!"

"I have had the opportunity to attend several StarMaker conferences. I never knew what my “Dream” was in life. StarMaker helped me focus on myself and finally, after all these years, realize my ambitions. StarMaker also gave me the courage to do something that I never thought I could do—go back to school. Now, I’m on my way to being the person that I was meant to be. With each StarMaker conference that I’ve attended, I felt like Richard was talking directly to me! I’m not the only one—other people that were there said the same thing!
Overall, StarMaker has been an extraordinary experience. In addition to learning more about myself, I’ve had the great fortune of meeting some amazing people at the conference. I wouldn’t take anything for any of my journeys at StarMaker!"
—Sharon King
"StarMaker meant so much to me that it’s hard to express. Your presentation on relationships helped me to come to an understanding of why my first marriage failed and gave me the tools I need to avoid the same mistakes. As an added bonus, so much of what you taught I have been able to apply to other areas besides relationships. I have found the concept of “strengthening, weakening, repairing” to be applicable to every area of my life. Thanks for doing what you do! You have made a difference in my life.”
—Clint M., Aubry, TX
"StarMaker was great! It taught us a lot about dealing with difficult family issues and relationship issues. We wouldn’t have missed it for the world!"

"All my life, I've felt something was missing…either in relationships with family, friends, co-workers, or my spouses. I could never define what it was. If I made an attempt, I would come to the conclusion that I was either selfish or crazy. I was extremely co-dependant. In my early 30's I began to read books on the subject and at least determined I wasn't crazy or selfish, however I kept acting in a self-destructive way, nothing drastic mind you, most people would think I was very together, but I lived in FEAR, fear of failure, fear of rejection.
I started going to StarMaker about 6 years ago when I started working at Gateway Title. When the first StarMaker cruise came along, Rachel (my boss & friend) suggested that I bring my significant other (Ken) on the cruise. He wasn't too keen on the idea of going on a cruise to listen to our Company Coach! We had been dating for about 2 years and he agreed to go if I wanted him to…to my surprise he attended the sessions and took NOTES!
Richard has made me THINK! There have been times in my journey that I didn't like Richard very much…he made me HURT. I thought I had dealt with my past, apparently I had not. It was on that cruise that it hit me right between the eyes, that my fear was FEAR OF SUCCESS!!! Rachel had told me that before, but it didn't sink in until that StarMaker, as corny as this may sound, Richard, by asking questions, has brought clarity to my life.
Since that StarMaker, Ken has come to all but one. We have been together 71/2 years now (still not married) however this spring we purchased land together and plan to build a home and then we will be married. I think the last StarMaker on family was what finally opened our eyes.
Richard comes to our office about 6 times a year to coach and after each visit I can I find a little more clarity. I'm now successful at work and in relationships. I've learned to ask questions, not just any question, but the right question.
By going to StarMaker I get an intense shot of what my soul and being was always searching for. I no longer feel like something is missing. I can continue my journey no matter what is going on in my life, I have learned to break free from the "circle of sameness". Every now and then I pop in one of the tapes of the StarMakers and listen, I learn something new every time. Without having gone through the pain of dealing with issues, I would not be the success I am at work, I would have given up being a parent, and I would not be planning on building a home and life with a wonderful man. My journey is not over and God willing it will continue for years to come. Thank you Richard for all the support you have given me in the past few years. And thank you Rachel for bringing me to that first StarMaker where my journey in life really began."
—Bridget
"For Andrea and I, we know that to be successful you must think differently, but that is only part of the process. You must act on your thinking to participate in and on the decision you made. StarMaker helps a person to act and be directed with purpose because of the relatable material that you present at StarMaker. The resources that you make available have helped us in our daily lives to reach for the dreams and goals that we have with more understanding.
